We
are looking for fabulists flash fiction and short stories. We like
stories that favor the unusual over the usual; we like stories that
create a milieu where anything can happen. Stories can take the form of
myth or fable. They can invent or suggest an unreal ambiance or describe
a realistic landscape gripped by a surreal or unexplained event.

Writing Excuses, a podcast with Brandon Sanderson, Mary Robinette Kowal, Dan Wells, Howard Taylor, have changed their format this year with their 10th season. They are doing a master class-- teaching writing, giving assignments.
I have always found their podcast informative and enjoyable They are only two months into this master class so there is still time to give it a go from the beginning if you would like to do so. I'll add the link to the bottom of this post, it will take you to Season 10 which gives you the 'liner' notes, you can also link to the podcast transcript or download the podcast itself. (I recommend listening if at all possible, much more enjoyable.)
BTW - even if you don't do the homework it is worth the listen
